Requests are online forms hosted by Jobber that allow your clients to request work to be done. These forms can be put on your website, social media pages, or clients can use the form by logging into client hub.
The requests report is where you will see an itemized list of your requests so that you can track their progress. To navigate to the requests report, go to Reports from the side navigation. The requests report is located in the Work reports section.
The requests report is available to admin users or non-admin users with these permissions:
- View reports
- View all requests
Filter the requests report
Requests can be filtered by their created date. This is when the request was submitted by a client or created internally.
To filter your report, click the Created filter dropdown, then select a date range. Your options are:
- Last week
- Last 30 days
- Last month
- This year
- Last 12 months
- Custom range
The requests that show in the report will all have a created date that falls between the start and end date of this date range.
Columns for the requests report
Columns in the requests report can be customized by selecting the Columns button, then selecting the columns for the report from the columns list.
The options for columns that can be added to the report are:
- Requested on date - this links to the request
- Client name
- Client email - this is the client's primary (starred) email address
- Client phone number
- Service street
- Service city
- Service state/province
- Service ZIP/postal code
- Request title
- Assessment date - If no assessment is scheduled, you will see "no assessment". Otherwise you'll either see the scheduled date or "unscheduled"
- Assigned to
- Quote #s - These are any quotes that the request has been converted into
- Job #s - These are any jobs that the request has been converted into
- Status - This is the request status. Learn more about request statuses.
- Request questions
Note: Questions need to match exactly what the client filled out to return data for this column. That means if questions are changed over time they won't return any historic data, only new responses. For example, if you have a field named ‘How did you hear about us?’ and collect some requests with data in this field, then you edit the field name to ‘Who told you about us?’, we will not return any historic data for the field. Only new responses will be returned.
Export the requests report to CSV
To receive a spreadsheet version of the requests report, click Export to CSV then select if you'd like to export the report with all columns or just the selected ones. The report will then be sent to the same email address that you use when you log into Jobber. Exporting to CSV is a good option if you need to work with the data in the report, print the report, or share it with someone who is not a user in your Jobber account.
