Work Requests in the Jobber App
Work Requests are available on our Connect and Unlimited plans.
Work Requests can be created in the Jobber App directly on the Day View of your schedule, through the Quick Create Menu, or from the Client page.
To create a Work Request on your schedule, tap into the time slot where you want to schedule it.
The Title, Description, and Client are all required fields when creating the request. This request will default to a one hour time frame starting at the time you selected on your schedule. Since it shows directly in your schedule, it has already been assigned to you.
Quick Create Menu
To create a Work Request from the quick create menu, click onto the + icon at the bottom right of the screen and choose Request.
When creating a request from this menu the required fields remain the same, Title, Description, and Client, however scheduling the request is optional. To schedule the request, toggle 'on' the On-site assessment at the bottom of the request.
This request will need to be assigned to a team member to appear on their schedule.
To create a request from the Client page, tap onto the Request tab and select 'New Request'
Because this request is made directly from the Client page, this client's information is already linked to it. You will need to fill in the Title and Description, and choose to toggle on the assessment in order to schedule it to the calendar.
