Overview
This guide is intended for users who mainly deal with the Jobber app and walks through their day-to-day workflow. This guide (along with the rest of the help center) is printable, so feel free to print off a copy to keep in your truck. Like anything printed though, make sure to check back so that you always have the most recent version handy.

Start your day by clocking in
If you are working for a company that is tracking your time through the Jobber app, you will want to start your day at work by clocking in to the general timer. This can be found from the Time Sheet tab on the bottom of the app. From this page, tap Clock In. At the end of the day, you will return to this page to Clock Out.
Once time is logged, you can add a note to your recorded time by tapping on it.
View your schedule
Tap the Schedule tab from the menu on the bottom of the app. This is where you will see what is on your calendar for today. Jobs appear here as well as any tasks or requests where an assessment has been scheduled.
If you have permissions that allow you to use team view, you can see other colleagues schedules.
There are also different views of the schedule that display your day either as a list or on a calendar with time slots.
Visits - doing the work
When you select one of the visits from the schedule, you will be able to see the visit details. This screen shows the property address where the visit is happening as well as icons to phone the client, get directions, and send them an "on my way" text message.
Note: If you cannot see the option to send an "on my way" text message, it's because the client doesn't have a text-enabled phone number.
You can also start a job timer from the visits page by tapping Start Timer. This records the time you spend working on this job specifically with this job instead of the general timer. When you are finished, you can stop the timer by pressing Stop Timer. When you stop the job timer, the general timer will start again automatically.
You can also view visit details like if there are instructions or add or view notes from the notes tab.
Adding a note
To record a note, tap the Notes tab and New Note. You can add a photo, video or upload documents using the Add Attachments button. Don't forget to save!
Filling out job forms
There might be a job form on some visits, which is a checklist or form to be filled out while you're at the visit. Tap on the name of the job form that you'd like to fill out.
When the job form opens, you will need to click Edit to start filling it out, then tap Save when you are done. There are also buttons for Email which emails the job form from this visit to the client and a button for Download where you can download a PDF version.
Stop the timer and complete the visit
Once you are done all the work on the visit, make sure to stop the timer if you started one and then tap Mark as Complete. When you stop the job timer, the general timer will start running again.
If you have permissions to create an invoice, you will then be prompted to either Create Invoice Now or Invoice Later. If you are not creating an invoice right now, chose Invoice Later then tap the schedule tab from the bottom menu to see what else is on the go for today.
Create an invoice and collect payment
From the invoicing prompt when the visit is completed, chose Create Invoice Now. The line items from the job will appear on the invoice, but you can tap edit to add or change the line items.
Tap the Collect Payment button to record how you've been paid for this invoice. If you are accepting credit card payments through Jobber Payments, you can charge the credit card with this option.
The More Actions button has options to send this invoice via email, text message, and to collect a signature.
End of day
When you are done work for the day, go back to the Time Sheet tab on the bottom menu. Tap the button to Clock Out. This stops the general timer for the day and ends any job timers that might be running.
