Overview
As a business owner, it's important to track the performance of your sales team so that you can understand the revenue that each of your sales people are bringing. When you have an overview of salesperson performance, you can provide your sales team with feedback and coaching on their performance.
In Jobber.com, a salesperson can be added to quotes, jobs, and invoices to track which team member sold this work. The salesperson performance report breaks down each salesperson and their sent quotes, converted quotes, and conversion rate.

Salesperson performance functionality is currently available through Jobber.com and will be coming soon to the Jobber app.
Assign a salesperson on quotes
On quotes, there is a field in the quote details section for Salesperson.
To assign a salesperson to a quote, create a new quote or edit an existing quote in Jobber.com. Then click the Salesperson dropdown to select a team member. The person you select here will be attributed as the salesperson for this quote. By default, the team member creating the quote will already be selected as the salesperson, however they can be removed as the salesperson by selecting the x beside their name.
Note: Only one salesperson can be assigned.
Assign a salesperson on jobs
On jobs, the salesperson field is located in the job details section.
If the job was converted from a quote that had a salesperson assigned, then the job will also have the same team member listed as the salesperson.
If there was no salesperson on the quote, or if the job is being created from scratch, then the salesperson field will not have a team member assigned. To add a salesperson to the job, from the salesperson field, select Add +, then select a team member from the dropdown menu.
Assign a salesperson on invoices
On invoices, the salesperson field is located in the invoice details section.
If the invoice was generated from a job that had a salesperson assigned, then the invoice will also have the same team member listed as the salesperson.
If there was no salesperson on the job, or if the invoice is being created from scratch, then the salesperson field will not have a team member assigned. To add a salesperson to the invoice, from the salesperson field, select Add +, then select a team member from the dropdown menu.
If the invoice is generated from multiple jobs, the invoice will have a salesperson assigned as long as all the jobs have the same salesperson. If the jobs have different salespeople, then the invoice will not have a salesperson assigned as only one salesperson can be attributed.
View the salesperson performance report
To view the salesperson performance report, select Reports from the side navigation. From the reports page, the salesperson performance report is located in the Work Reports column.
Salesperson is also a column option in the quotes report and invoices report, for more in-depth reporting on specific quotes and invoices.
Permissions
To view the salesperson performance report, team members need the following user permissions:
- View all quotes
- Show pricing
- View reports
The salesperson performance report breaks down all team members who have been assigned as a salesperson on a quote within the report's date range. For each salesperson, the report has columns for:
- Sent quotes (#)
- Sent quotes ($)
- Converted quotes (#)
- Converted quotes ($)
- Conversion rate
- Note: the conversion rate is calculated by (converted quotes with a drafted date in the date range) / (sent quotes with a drafted date in the date range) + (converted quotes with a drafted date in date range AND WITHOUT a sent date). Since quotes can be converted without being sent, converted quotes that do not have a sent date are a part of this calculation.

- Note: If the quote has a drafted date within the date range of the report but the sent or converted dates fall outside of the report's date range, they will still be included in this report.

To add or remove columns from the report, select the Columns button.
Note: Quotes created prior to salesperson attribution in Jobber (August 23, 2024) will not appear in the salesperson attribution report.
