Turn on the Advanced Quote Customization Jobber Lab
Advanced quote customization is currently being offered as a Jobber Lab.
To join the lab, navigate to the Gear Icon > Jobber Labs. Locate Advanced Quote Customization from the list of open labs, then select Turn on.
You will be asked to acknowledge:
- You have read, understood, and agreed to Jobber's terms of service. The Advanced Quote Customization tool is provided under those terms, including the beta-specific terms.
- This feature is not available on the mobile app and can only be accessed through Jobber.com.
- The features provided under this lab will not be reflected on quote PDFs generated on client hub and jobber.com.
Create a quote with advanced customization
Advanced quote customization includes:
- Header image and description: Upload images that represent your expertise or showcase your brand. Write an impactful introduction that summarizes your services.
- Footer image and description: Add new fields to the footer section that complement your overall company brand.
- Image gallery: Personalize your quote by uploading up to 10 images that clarify the work to be done or showcase your past projects to build trust with your customers.
- Attachments: Include detailed attachments directly on the quote. Attachments are all centralized and easily accessible through client hub so your clients won't have to search through their emails to find them.

Customer reviews: Include up to 3 customer reviews from Google to build trust with your client.
- Note: You must be using Jobber's reviews add-on in order to add customer reviews to your quotes.
To create a quote without advanced customization, toggle off Advanced layout. This will remove the advanced quote customization fields and your quote will only have the fields covered in this article: Quote Basics
Quote templates
Quote templates help you create quotes quickly by using a preset format. You can customize templates for specific job types, so most of the details are already filled in for you. Just add any final details, and you're ready to share the quote with your client!
To create a quote template, first make sure you're enrolled in the advanced quote customization Jobber lab.
Create a quote template
To create a new quote template:
- Select Quotes from the side navigation.
- Click the Templates button.
- Select Create Template to start creating a new quote template.
Only admin users can create and edit quote templates. Team members who have user permissions to create quotes can fill out quote templates. You can create up to 30 quote templates.
Use a quote template
When creating a new quote in Jobber.com, there will be an option to use a quote template for the quote, or to create a new quote from scratch.
Quotes can be created from the following places in Jobber.com:
- The Create button on the side navigation
- The New quote button on the Quotes list page
- From the More Actions button on client or property pages
- When converting a request to a quote using the More Actions button
Next fill out the fields in your quote template. The fields that can be templated include:
- Template name
- Job title for the quote
- Line items
- Deposit
- Client message
- Contact/disclaimer
- Advanced quote customization fields:
- Header text and image
- Attachments
- Image gallery
- Reviews (Note: the reviews add-on is required to show reviews on your quote)
- Footer text and image
The below image is what a blank quote template looks like:
There are some fields that appear on your quote that cannot be templated as they will vary. These include:
- Discount
- Taxes
- Custom fields
- Internal notes and attachments
Manage quote templates
To make changes to an existing quote template, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Quotes tab from the side navigation.
- Select the Templates button to open the templates drawer.
- The templates drawer shows your existing quote templates. Select the template you want to edit from the list.
Delete a quote template
To delete a quote template, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Quotes tab from the side navigation.
- From the quotes list page, select the Templates button.
- From the templates drawer, select the template you want to delete.
- From the Edit Template screen, scroll to the end of the template then select Delete to remove the template.
You'll be asked to confirm your deletion, select Delete to permanently remove this quote template.
Note: Once deleted, the quote template cannot be recovered.
Share feedback about advanced quote customization
To share feedback about advanced quote customization (including quote templates), navigate to the Gear Icon > Jobber Labs.
From the advanced quote customization card, select Give Feedback.

What will happen if I turn the advanced quote customization lab off?
Your existing quotes created during the lab will remain unchanged. However, if you edit a quote with advanced customization after turning the lab off, your custom content (header and footer images and customer reviews) will be removed. All new quotes created after leaving the lab will not have the new lab features.
You can leave this lab at any time by selecting the Turn Off button on the labs page.
Will the advanced quote customization lab change the layouts of PDFs?
Quotes created through the lab functionality will exclude PDFs. As this feature is still in development, you may expect some visual bugs in Quote PDFs created through this lab.
Is the advanced quote customization lab available on the Jobber mobile app?
No. Advanced quote customization and quote templates are only available on Jobber.com, not the Jobber mobile app.
If you need to create a quote with advanced quote functionality while using a mobile device, use your device's browser to access Jobber.com.
What do I need to do to add Google Reviews to my quotes?
In order to show customer reviews on quotes, you need to be using Jobber Reviews. Learn more about Reviews | Marketing Tools.
Note: Newly-submitted reviews may take up to 1 day to appear on Jobber.
