Customize the columns on the team productivity report
Columns in the team productivity report can be customized by selecting the Columns button, then selecting the columns for the report from the columns list.
The options for columns that can be added to the report are:
- Name: This is the team member's name
- Visits: The number of visits assigned to the team member within the report's date range
-
Job revenue ($): The job revenue is calculated as the sum of:
- the value of one-off jobs with a last visit within the date range that have been assigned to this team member; PLUS
- the value of recurring jobs with per visit billing assigned to this team member within the report's date range; PLUS
- the value of any visits with custom line items that differ from the line items on the job, assigned to this team member within the report's date range.
Note
If multiple team members are assigned to a visit, revenue per team member is calculated based on the time each person tracked during the visit.
- If all team members track time, revenue is distributed proportionally based on their tracked hours. For example, if a job is worth $300 and one team member logs 2 hours while another logs 1 hour, the revenue is split accordingly—$200 to the first team member and $100 to the second.
- If no time is tracked, revenue is split equally among assigned team members. For example, if a job is worth $600 and three team members are assigned but none log any time, each receives an equal share of $200.
- If only one team member tracks time, they receive the full revenue allocation. For example, if a job is worth $100 and one team member logs time while another does not, the full $100 is attributed to the team member who tracked time, and $0 to the other.
Manually added time entries are attributed to the job, not the visit, while revenue is attributed to each visit and the users assigned to it. Because of this, revenue cannot be distributed based on manually tracked hours.
- If a user has manual time entries on a job but is not assigned to it, their hours will appear in the team productivity report, but the job's revenue will not be attributed to them.
- If multiple users are assigned to a visit, but only one has tracked time while another has manual time entries, the first user will have all the visit’s revenue attributed to them, while the second user will have no revenue attributed—though both users' hours will be included in the report.
- Time tracked on jobs: This is the total of timesheets entries from visit timers for the team member within the report's date range. This is tracked in hours and minutes.
- General time tracked: This is the total of general timesheet entries for the team member within the report's date range. This is tracked in hours and minutes.
- Total time tracked: Total time tracked, includes both general and job time. This is tracked in hours and minutes.
- Job productivity: This is the value of revenue assigned to the team member / number of hours of job timesheets.
- Overall productivity: This is the value of revenue assigned to the team member / total time tracked.
