Overview
Franchising connects two or more Jobber accounts together so you can quickly move from one to the other.
If you have multiple businesses with different company branding information, we suggest using two different Jobber accounts. Franchising allows you to keep all of your scheduling, teams, reports, quotes, jobs, invoices, and income separate for each business. Franchised accounts do not share any information between the accounts.
Note: Franchise accounts are not supported on the Lite plan.
How does franchising work?
Franchising allows you to access multiple Jobber accounts with one login. This allows you to quickly navigate back and forth from business to business on jobber.com by clicking your account name next to the side navigation.
Users can also navigate back and forth between accounts through the Jobber App by tapping the More on the bottom menu. From the settings menu, select Switch Franchise.
Then select the account to access through the app.
How do I set up a franchise?
Email us at support@getjobber.com or start a live chat with our Success Team to get started with setting up a franchise. We'll need to hear directly from the Account Owner to make changes to your account.
Add a user to the franchise
Once the franchise is set up, the process to add a user to a franchise account is the same as adding a user to an account that is not a franchise, except you're going to add the user to each account using the same email address. The email address of the user you're adding must not already exist in the account this user is getting added to.
1️⃣ To add a new user, navigate to the Manage Team page then click New User and enter their information. Once their info is all entered, click Save User.
2️⃣ Using the franchise toggle, switch to the next account to which you're adding this user.
3️⃣ Make sure that their email address is entered exactly the same in each account, then click Save User.
Note: Their user permissions will be the same across all accounts that the user is added to. If their permissions need to be updated in the future, an admin user can edit them from the user's original account.
4️⃣ Repeat for every account you're adding the user to.

Reports
Accounts that are set up as franchises in Jobber have the ability to export their report data from the account they are currently logged into, as well as a report that contains all their report data from linked accounts in aggregate.
To export reports, navigate to Reports from the side navigation, then from the list of reports select the report you would like to view and download.
When you access a report, you'll see an Options box at the top of the page, this is where you can begin to customize the report. For many of the reports, you can set a particular date range of data to export as well as some other options to filter down the data in the report. When using the franchise download options, a maximum of 90 days of data can be downloaded in each request. This applies to the ‘Last 12 months’, ‘This calendar year’, and ‘A custom range’ options, where 90 days is based on the starting date.

What if I'm a franchisor or association and need to manage several locations?
Visit getjobber.com/franchises and request a call. Our Business Development team will be in touch to discuss additional options.
Note: If you are syncing with QuickBooks, each QuickBooks account can only connect to one Jobber account at a time.
