Overview
The Marketing Plan organizes your marketing activities on a single calendar built from your Jobber data. Use it to coordinate promotions, job showcases, and customer outreach across email, social media, Google, and your website — so you always know what to do next and when.
Marketing Plan Availability
Marketing Plan is included with Marketing Suite. Add Marketing Tools to your Jobber Plan Subscription.
To check what plan you're on, navigate to the Gear Icon, then select Account and Billing. If you have any questions about your plan's features or pricing, our support team is here to help.

Access Marketing Plan
To access your Marketing Plan:
- Select Marketing from the side navigation.
- Select the Marketing Plan tab.
Create your Marketing Plan
Your Marketing Plan displays recommended activities for the current quarter. Each activity includes a suggested channel, timing, and goal based on your Jobber data — your services, job history, customer base, and booking patterns.
Activities appear on the calendar as cards. Each card shows:
- The recommended channel (email, Facebook, Google, website)
- The suggested send or publish date
- The goal for the activity (for example, re-engage past customers or promote a service)
New items can be added to your marketing calendar by typing an idea into the "Add to your marketing calendar" bar at the top of the page. Jobber will use your input to create content, for example, if there is an upcoming holiday or season, you may suggest creating content around that topic and Jobber will generate an email campaign.
Items can also be added to your marketing plan manually, if you already have planned content in the works, click an empty week to manually add the content, or click Create New.
You can then type to suggest content that will be generated, or select to add a new email campaign or website page.
A quick way to get started with Marketing Plan is to select the Fill my Calendar button. Jobber draws from the data already in your Jobber account to create content. This includes your service area, services offered, past job history, customer base, and seasonal booking patterns. As your business changes, your plan updates to reflect those changes. create marketing content that is relevant to your clients and fills gaps in your schedule.
The plan surfaces recommendations based on what has driven results for similar businesses. You can accept, decline, or modify any recommendation.
Review recommended actions
Next to the bar where you can suggest content for marketing content are some suggestions to help you get the most out of marketing plan. Click View All Actions to expand them. The actions may include topics like optimizing your Google Business profile to help clients find your business as well as marketing content suggestions.
Review and approve marketing activities
Before any activity goes out, you review and approve it. Nothing publishes without your confirmation.
To review an activity:
- Select the activity card on the calendar.
- Review the recommended content, channel, and timing.
- Select Approve to schedule the activity.
Select Decline to remove it from your plan. Jobber uses your feedback to adjust future recommendations.
Adjust your plan manually
You can add, reschedule, or remove activities at any time.
To add a new activity:
- Select Add activity on the calendar.
- Choose a channel and objective.
- Complete the activity details.
- Select Save to add the activity to your plan.
To reschedule an activity:
Drag the activity card to a new date on the calendar.
To remove an activity:
Select the activity card, then select Remove from plan.
