Overview
Jobber Money is a secure business account that gives you faster access to your Jobber Payments payouts without pesky fees or monthly minimums. With it, you’ll receive a physical business spend card customized with your business name so you can use your payouts to purchase the things you need to keep your business moving. You’ll also be able to issue and manage spend cards for members of your team, all from the Jobber Mobile App.
Jobber Money is available to Jobber Payments users in the U.S.
This article applies to our preview program of Jobber Money and may be updated once Jobber Money is officially launched and made more widely available. To provide feedback on your Jobber Money experience, please email jobber-money@getjobber.com.
Jobber Money offers:
- Payment tracking and spending in the same place you manage your business
- A no-monthly-fee, zero-minimums, business account that's opened in minutes
- Faster access to payouts from Jobber Payments, even on evenings and weekends
- A physical spend card customized with your business's name
- The ability to issue and manage spend cards for members on your team with amount and category spend controls
- Review your account balance, business transactions and initiate same or next-business-day bank transfers (ACH) to your other accounts on-the-go from the Jobber mobile app
How it works
Once approved for a Jobber Money account, you will receive access to your account and be automatically sent a physical business spend card to the shipping address entered during the sign up process within 2-3 business days.
Once your spend card is activated, you will begin receiving your Jobber Payments payouts to your Jobber Money account within as little as 1 hour after they have been collected, even on evenings and weekends, at no cost to you. Your spend card will then allow you to begin making purchases for your business using the funds from your account.
Note: When your client pays using a bank payment (ACH), it can take up to 7 business days for the amount to be available for a payout as ACH payments have a longer processing time. Card payments will be available within the hour after they have been collected.
You can also choose to issue spend cards to other members of your team and manage their cards from the Money tab in the Jobber mobile app. Cards issued to members of your team will arrive at their entered shipping address within 5-8 business days.
As you start to receive payouts to the account and begin using them to make business purchases, you will be able to monitor your balance and see the list of your transactions in the Jobber Mobile app.
If needed, you also have the flexibility to transfer your money to your other owned bank accounts within the same or next business day.
Jobber reserves the right to re-evaluate a user’s eligibility for faster funds access at any time.
Security
Stripe Treasury Accounts are eligible for FDIC pass-through deposit insurance if they meet certain requirements. The accounts are eligible only to the extent pass-through insurance is permitted by the rules and regulations of the FDIC, and if the requirements for pass-through insurance are satisfied. The FDIC insurance applies up to 250,000 USD per depositor, per financial institution, for deposits held in the same type of account (business versus personal, and so on). Stripe Treasury accounts are designed to be eligible for FDIC pass-through insurance. The FDIC makes the final determination about the availability of pass-through insurance at the time of a bank’s failure.
Stripe or Jobber are not FDIC insured institutions. FDIC’s deposit insurance coverage only protects against the failure of an FDIC insured depository institution.

This list will show you the status, expiry date, and last four digits of each card associated with your account. If you have issued spend cards to other members of your team, the view will be grouped by cardholder in alphabetical order.
How to view your card details
You can view more details about each spend card associated with your account by tapping on them from the card list tab on the homepage.
There are different statuses for Jobber Money cards:
- processing
- on its way
- active
- frozen
- canceled
- locked
Cards in the "processing" status are in the process of being issued. While in this status, the cardholder details provided are being reviewed before the card is shipped to the entered shipping address.
Cards in the "on its way" status have been successfully issued and are on the way to their displayed shipping address in the mail. You will see the card's estimated arrival date on the card detail view for cards in this status.
Your card will arrive in the mail with instructions on how to activate it through the Jobber mobile app. Once activated, the card will move from the "on its way" status to "active". Once a card is active, it is ready to be used for online or in-store business purchases.
Account owners will also have the flexibility to temporarily disable active cards for use by choosing to move the card to "frozen" status at any time. This means that no transactions will be authorized from the card while in the frozen state. This can be done by setting the Freeze card toggle displayed on the card detail view to ON. This action is temporary and the card can be unfrozen at any time.
If a card needs to be permanently disabled it can be moved to the "canceled" status by contacting support at support@getjobber.com. This action is permanent and means that no further transactions will ever be authorized from the card.
Cards may also appear in "locked" status. This means the card has been locked by Jobber to prevent any further use.
Account owners can also view and make updates to the spending controls set on the card when viewing the card's details.
If you require assistance with cards on your account, please contact support at support@getjobber.com. If you believe a card on your account has been lost or stolen, we advise you to first freeze the card before contacting support to prevent any further use in the meantime.
How to issue additional cards for your account
Account owners can issue additional spend cards to other members of their team from the cards section on the Money tab in the Jobber mobile app.
If you have other users on your Jobber account who do not yet have a card issued to them, you will see an add card button at the top of the cards tab on the Jobber Money homepage.
Tapping add card will take you into the card issuing flow where you can select which of your team members you want to issue cards to and confirm their details.
Within this flow you will be able to set the following controls for cards on your account:
- a daily, weekly, and monthly spending limit
- allowed and blocked spending categories
- a daily ATM withdrawal limit
In addition to the daily, weekly, or monthly spend limit you may set, Jobber will also not allow a user to spend more than $10,000 per day or $50,000 per month per card.
Account owners can control which cards on their account have ATM access and can set a daily withdrawal limit of up to $300. This limit will be inclusive of any fees that are charged by the ATM owner-operator.
Once complete, you and the new cardholder will be notified when the card is issued and on its way to the shipping address entered.
In order to complete the issuing process, the new cardholder may be required to provide additional information needed to verify their identity. In this case, the account owner and cardholder will receive an email with instructions on how to provide the requested information in order to complete the review.
Each Jobber user can only have one active physical card at a time and each card issued to members of your team will have a default daily card spend limit of $1,000.
