Overview
Make it easy for customers to find your business and explore your services with a simple, professional website you can set up in minutes.
Included with your Jobber plan subscription, Jobber can generate a website for your business so that your customers have an always-on way to find and contact your business. This is done directly in Jobber.com so the setup is quick and easy and you don't need to find a third-party web developer. Your website will be set up for you to accept requests from clients and leads alike.
Website availability
A website is available on select plans. View our current pricing plans.
Note: A website can be generated while in trial, but it cannot be published until you select a plan. Your website will stay online as long as you have an active Jobber subscription.
To check what plan you're on, select the Gear Icon, and then select Account and Billing. If you have any questions about your plan's features or pricing, our support team is here to help!
Set up your website
To set up your business's website, select Marketing from the side navigation, then select Website. From the landing page, select Create Website.
Note: Only admin users can generate and publish websites.
There are two steps in setting up your website. The first step is to enter a description of what sets your business apart from your competitors. This description will be used to create your website, but this exact wording won't be used. The description you enter here can be changed in the future.
Once you've entered your description, select Continue.
The second step is adding your Google Business Profile so that your website can display your reviews. Type your company name into the search bar and select it from the list. Next, select Create Website.
Note: The reviews portion of your website will only be available if you have a physical address listed in your Google Business Profile. Service areas are not supported. Your Google Business Profile does not need to be verified to link to your website.
If you don't have a company profile, select "No company profile" from the drop down menu, or select the button to Skip and Create Website.
Now that your business description and Google Business Profile are added, your website will take a moment to generate.
Once ready, you'll see a preview of your new website based on the information you entered during the set up. This is just a preview, your website will not be online until you publish it. If there is anything you'd like to tweak to better reflect your business, your website can be customized.
To preview how your website looks on different devices, use the toggle at the top of the website page to switch between Mobile and Desktop.
By default, your website will include:
- A header, with:
- Your company's name and logo
- A button for existing clients to log into client hub
- A header image (in the example below, it's the lawn image)
- Tagline (in the example below, "transforming outdoor spaces in Edmonton with expert care")

- Get an estimate (this links to your request form)

- Note: The image gallery will be hidden until at least one image has been uploaded to the image gallery.

- Phone number
- Email address
- Icons that link to your socials - these are populated from your branding settings
A note about images
Images used on your website must be under 5MB and a .png, .jpg, or .jpeg file type.
There are no specific dimension requirements for your images as they're all dynamically sized based on the device your website is viewed on.
For the header image, a best practice is having the content you want to highlight at the top of the image so that it's not covered by the card with your company's name.
We recommend that your images do not include text, as that can hurt your website's SEO score due to accessibility concerns.
Customize website content
To customize your website content, select Marketing from the side navigation, then select Website.
On this page, there is a preview of your website with customization options along the right side of the page.
The content on your website that can be customized includes:

Site Title: This is the headline that appears in search results and browser tabs. It should clearly reflect what your business does. If you change your company name after publishing your website, make sure to adjust the Site Title field with your new company name. The Site Title field supports up to 60 characters.
Site Description: This short paragraph appears below your title in search results. It’s a great place to highlight your services, location, and anything that sets your business apart. Keep it under 150 characters for best results.
As you fill in your title and description, you’ll see a live preview showing how your site might appear in Google search results. This helps you write copy that’s clear, compelling, and easy to scan.
It can take a few days for updates to appear in search engines. While we can’t control when search engines crawl your site, updating your metadata ensures you’re putting your best foot forward.
Set up a custom domain
Improve your branding and search ranking by customizing your website address. Through Jobber’s partners, you can connect a custom domain you already own—or purchase a new one—to use with your Jobber website. A custom domain, like www.yourbusinessname.com, adds a professional touch, helps reinforce your brand, and can make your site easier to find and remember.
Note
In order to set up a custom domain, you must first publish your website. You won't see the option to add a custom domain if you website is unpublished. To add a custom domain:
- Select Marketing, then Website from the side navigation.
- From under Customize website, select the Add custom domain button.
There are two options when setting up a custom domain:
If you already have a custom domain, select Connect existing. If you'll need to purchase a domain name, select Purchase New for options.
Purchase a new custom domain
Once you've selected the Purchase New button, the first step is making sure your desired domain name is available.
Enter a domain name, then select Check to view the availability. Domains are offered by IONOS.
Add a domain name to you cart and then complete your checkout when ready to purchase the domain.
Once your purchase is complete, you will see a confirmation in Jobber that you're ready to go. Your domain will be automatically set up with your Jobber website.
Note
If you purchase a custom domain through Jobber, it will be managed by our domain partner, IONOS. Domains are registered for set terms (for example, one year), and you’ll need to renew and continue paying for your domain through IONOS to keep it active. If you ever decide to cancel or stop using your domain, that will also be managed directly through IONOS, not Jobber.
Connect an existing custom domain
If you’ve already purchased a domain from another domain host, you can connect it to your Jobber website. After selecting the Connect existing button, you’ll be prompted to use an app called Entri to look up your domain and link it to Jobber. Jobber partners with Entri to simplify the process—Entri provides the tools to securely manage your domain settings and keep your website connected.
Enter your domain name in the search bar, then select Continue.
Next, Entri will analyze your domain. If your domain provider is recognized, you’ll be prompted to sign in using your credentials for the domain provider.
If your domain provider isn’t automatically identified, you can choose your provider from a list. If you don't see your domain provider on the list, scroll to the bottom and select Go to our manual setup.
Connect your domain manually
If your domain provider isn’t listed, you can still connect your domain by manually adding three DNS records from Jobber to your domain provider’s settings. This includes one CNAME record and two A records, which help route traffic so your domain connects correctly to your Jobber website.
- Start by selecting Go to our manual setup from the list of domain providers in Jobber.
- Copy your CNAME and A records from Jobber.
- Paste the CNAME and A records into your domain provider's settings.
- Navigate back to Jobber, then select I have copied 3/3 records.
Once your CNAME and A records have been added, it can take up to 48 hours for your custom domain to go live for your Jobber website.
If you’re not sure where to find these settings, we’ve included links to guides for some common domain providers to help you locate where to add your records. If your domain provider isn’t listed, you can likely find instructions by searching Google for terms like '[provider name] edit A record' or '[provider name] edit CNAME record.'
