Overview
Welcome to Jobber! Whether you're a new member of a team that's been using Jobber for a while or your whole team is coming to Jobber for the first time, you'll need to learn how to join the account that your account admins have set up. Follow along with this guide to learn how to accept your invitation to setup your account, download the app, and get working!

Accept your invitation
Once your team adds you to their Jobber account as a new user, you'll receive an email or text message inviting you to join the team on Jobber.
There are multiple ways to accept your invitation depending on your user permissions and the type of device you're using:
- From a desktop when viewing your email invitation
- From a mobile device when viewing your text message or email invitation
- Note: This is just for non-admin users
From a desktop when viewing your email invitation
If you open your email invitation on a desktop, you'll see an email that looks like the one below. Click Accept the Invitation to start setting up your account. This flow can be used to invite both admin and non-admin users to Jobber.
Next, you will be prompted to set up your account. This screen should mention the name of the company whose account you are joining and show the email address that you will use to log into the account you're joining. It is important to make sure you are accepting an invitation of an existing account rather than creating a new Jobber trial.
Note: If you do accidentally start a trial, reach out to our Support Team and we'll help you out!
Create your new account by entering:
Your full name
A password
Your password again to confirm it
Then select, Join Now. The password and email address set up here will become your new login information for Jobber going forward.
From a mobile device when viewing your text message or email invitation
Tap the link in your text message or the Accept the Invitation button in your email to continue setting up your Jobber account. From there, you'll be directed to the app store to download or open the Jobber App. Once you have the Jobber App installed, tap Open.
Next, you'll be prompted to enter your name, email address, and set a password. If you started by accepting your email invitation, use the same email address that invite was sent to.
Once all your information is entered, select Continue. From here, you'll see a various prompts to make sure you have all the settings enabled on your device to use the Jobber App to it's fullest potential. Tapping the "yes" button from each of these prompts will open a confirmation pop-up from your device to enable the setting.
That's it! You're all set up. Tap Get Started to navigate to your schedule.
Download the app
If you started by accepting your invite through email on a desktop, you'll want to download the Jobber App so that you are ready for work in the field. The app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Think of the app like another one of your tools while out in the field. You're going to be using it a lot. The app shows your schedule and job details so that you know what your assignments are for the day as well as any info you'll need to get the job done. There are also options on the app to clock in and out so that you can log your time for the day.

Start working
