Overview
The Lead Funnel insight is part of Jobber Central, a dashboard that helps multi-location businesses track performance across their locations. The lead funnel shows how leads move through the early stages of your sales process across all connected locations. It visualizes how many leads become quoted work and how many ultimately turn into jobs.
By viewing this funnel in one place, you can quickly see how efficiently your business units are converting new opportunities into booked work.
The funnel is calculated using activity from the past 90 days and highlights key stages in the lead-to-job workflow.
What the lead funnel shows
To navigate to the lead funnel, select the Dashboard tab on the Jobber Central side navigation.
This chart shows the progression of new leads and new work, including:
- New leads
- Quotes created
- Jobs created
- Jobs closed
The lead funnel breaks down lead activity into three stages:
New leads: The total number of new leads created during the selected time period.
Leads with a sent quote: The number of those leads that received at least one quote.
New jobs: The number of leads that progressed to having a job created.
This view helps you understand how effectively leads are moving through your workflow and where potential drop-offs may occur.
Why the lead funnel matters
The lead funnel helps you:
Identify where leads may be dropping off in the sales process
Compare conversion performance across multiple locations
Monitor how effectively teams are turning opportunities into booked work
Track improvements after changes to quoting or sales processes
If a large number of leads are not progressing to quotes or jobs, it may indicate an opportunity to review quoting speed, follow-ups, or lead quality.
Understand where your leads are coming from
While the lead funnel shows how leads move through your sales process, lead source insights help you understand where those leads came from. Together, these insights help you identify both how well leads convert and which channels bring in the most valuable opportunities.
Each lead in Jobber can be associated with a lead source, which indicates how the customer first discovered your business. Common lead sources might include referrals, your website, social media, or advertising campaigns.
Tracking lead sources gives you more context about the leads appearing in your funnel and helps you identify which marketing channels are bringing in the most opportunities.
