Overview
Your Google Business Profile helps potential clients find your business when they search for home services on Google Search and Google Maps. Connecting your profile through Jobber ensures your listing is complete, credible, and bookable — so more clients can discover and hire you.

When you connect your Google Business Profile to Jobber, Jobber reviews your listing and optimizes it with accurate, up-to-date business details. This includes your company name, the services you offer, your business address, and your service areas. You can also add a booking link so potential clients can book directly from your Google listing.
Connect and optimize your Google Business Profile
You can access the optimization tool from two places in Jobber:
- Marketing Dashboard: Navigate to Marketing in the left sidebar. Under Top Actions, select Connect next to "Connect and optimize your Google Business Profile."
- Business Profile settings: Navigate to your business profile settings page. A banner at the top of the page prompts you to connect and optimize your Google Business Profile.
The optimization process has three steps: a landing page overview, an optimization form to review your details, and a confirmation page.
To create a new Google Profile and connect it to Jobber:
- Navigate to Marketing from the side navigation, then from under top actions, select Connect next to "Connect and optimize your Google Business Profile."
- Review the landing page. If you don't already have a Google Business Profile, click Create Google Profile to create one.
- A profile will be created for you based on some information in your Jobber account. Please review and update the following details:
- Company name: Confirm your business name matches what you want displayed on Google.
- Categories and services: Select your primary business category and the specific services you offer. You can add up to 10 categories and 30 services.
- Address: Confirm your business address. Only storefronts display an address on their Google listing. If you operate as a service-area business, your address is not shown publicly.
- Service area: Add the areas where you provide services. You can add up to 20 service areas.
- Once everything looks correct, click Submit to Google.
- Next you'll be prompted to connect Google and Jobber. Review the access to your account that Google needs, then click Allow Access.
- Select your Google account to be connected to Jobber.
- Next you'll see a confirmation screen that your business profile was submitted to Google. If any information requires additional verification, it will be flagged on this page. Click Done to return to the Google Business Profile landing page.
To connect an existing Google Business Profile to Jobber:
- Navigate to Marketing from the side navigation, then from under top actions, select Connect next to "Connect and optimize your Google Business Profile."
- Review the landing page. Since you already have a Google Business Profile, select Connect Existing Profile.
- Next you'll be prompted to connect Google and Jobber. Review the access to your account that Google needs, then click Allow Access.
- Click Allow to let Jobber access your Google account, then select which Google profile will be connected to Jobber. After you've made your selection, click Continue.
- On the optimization form, review and update the following details:
- Company name: Confirm your business name matches what you want displayed on Google.
- Categories and services: Select your primary business category and the specific services you offer. You can add up to 10 categories and 30 services.
- Address: Confirm your business address. Only storefronts display an address on their Google listing. If you operate as a service-area business, your address is not shown publicly.
- Service area: Add the areas where you provide services. You can add up to 20 service areas.
- Review your details, then click Submit to Google to send your optimized profile to Google.
Add online booking to your Google listing
After you optimize your profile, you can add a Jobber online booking link to your Google Business Profile. This lets potential clients book your services directly from your Google listing, without needing to call or email you first.
Note: The Jobber online booking form must be either an assessment booking form or job booking form. Request forms are not supported.
To add online booking:
- Complete the Google Business Profile connection steps above.
- From the Review Google Business Profile page, select Connect Booking Form.
- Choose one of your existing online booking forms to link to your Google listing.
When a potential client finds your business on Google, they see a booking option that takes them directly to your Jobber online booking form.
