Overview

Connect your Jobber account to Claude or ChatGPT to ask questions about your business and create some records directly from those platforms.

Connect Jobber to Claude and ChatGPT is available on all Core, Connect, Grow, and Plus plans. View our current pricing plans. To check what plan you’re on, navigate to the Gear Icon, then select Account and Billing. If you have any questions about your plan’s features or pricing, our support team is here to help.

You also need an active Claude or ChatGPT account. Both platforms’ free plans work with the Jobber connector.

Note: This is not the same as using Claude or ChatGPT’s browser tools to access Jobber directly. Jobber blocks automated browser agents (including Claude’s and ChatGPT’s built-in browser tools) from signing in to Jobber the way a person does. If you want to use Claude or ChatGPT with Jobber, use the connector setup below, not a browser agent.

What you can do with the Claude and ChatGPT connectors

You can ask Claude or ChatGPT to look up or search for the following: requests, quotes, clients, properties, jobs, and invoices.

You can also ask Claude or ChatGPT to create or edit the following: requests, clients, and properties.

You can’t currently use the connector to:

  • Create or edit jobs, quotes, or invoices
  • Delete or archive any record
  • Add, edit, or remove items on your schedule

Set up the connector for Claude

To set up Claude with your Jobber account:

  1. In your Jobber account, navigate to the App Marketplace, then open the Claude connector.
  2. Select Learn More to go to the Claude connector directory.
  3. Select Connect on the Jobber connector.
  4. Sign in to your Jobber account if you aren’t already signed in.
  5. Select Allow Access to let the Claude connector access your Jobber account.

Once you approve access, you land on your Claude connector customization page, where you can see and customize which tools Claude can use in your account.

Set up the connector for ChatGPT

To set up ChatGPT with your Jobber account:

  1. In your Jobber account, navigate to the App Marketplace, then open the ChatGPT connector.
  2. Select Learn More to go to the ChatGPT plugin directory.
  3. Select Connect on the Jobber connector.
  4. Sign in to your Jobber account if you aren’t already signed in.
  5. Allow the ChatGPT connector to access your Jobber account.

Once you approve access, you land on your ChatGPT plugin page, where you can see and customize which tools ChatGPT can use in your account.

Things you can try asking

The following is not an exhaustive list, but it can help you get an idea of how you can get started with the integration:

  • “Show me every new request from this week.”
  • “Show me all quotes still awaiting response.”
  • “What does the schedule look like for the first two weeks of September?”
  • “Here’s a work order email from [company name], create the request in Jobber.”
  • “Give me my morning briefing.”
